Other costs 

The following charges are available on an opt-in basis. Full details are provided to new students in the Pre-Arrival Handbook.

  • Bedding packs are available for students to purchase ahead of their arrival at a cost of £35 (single) or £50 (double)
  • Keys are available at the College Reception and a lost key charge of £30 applies. Livers Out Keys are available for a £25 refundable deposit.
  • Laundry is available in College for residents at a cost of £4.40 per wash and dry.
  • Gowns are available to purchase at a cost of £55 (new) or £25 (second hand).
  • Induction Week Wristbands are available to all new students at a cost of £62.

The following JCR/MCR charges are also available on an opt-out basis as follows – 

  • JCR Membership (battels) – £30 per year
  • JCR Sports Levy – £15 per year
  • MCR Membership (battels) – £35 per year

And on an opt-out basis the follow is available – 

  • Gym Membership – £15 per term or £35 per year

In cases of genuine financial hardship, many of the above costs can be subsidised by the College or common room. More information is available from the Vice Principal.
